Integrity education took an interactive turn as students put their teamwork, critical thinking and ethical decision-making skills to the test through Code of Integrity: The Escape Mission.
It was organised by the Angkatan Mahasiswa Anti Rasuah Universiti Kuala Lumpur Business School (AMAR UBIS) in collaboration with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Kuala Lumpur.
Held on 15 August 2026, the programme moved beyond the conventional seminar format by introducing an Explorace and escape-room concept in which participants completed challenges centred on integrity and anti-corruption values.

Through the activities, students were required to communicate, solve problems and make decisions based on ethical principles.
The experiential learning approach provided a practical platform for participants to understand how integrity applies not only in university life, but also in future professional and societal settings.
The programme was further strengthened by the participation of officers from MACC Kuala Lumpur, including PKPj Nor Faemah Ismail, Deputy Director (Prevention); PsK Nurnadiah Kamarudin, Head of the Community Education Branch; and PPs Suzreen Sahaini from the Community Education Branch.

Following the Explorace, PsK Nurnadiah Kamarudin delivered an anti-corruption briefing highlighting the importance of integrity and the shared responsibility of individuals and communities in rejecting all forms of corruption.
Support from UniKL Business School was also reflected through the involvement of Ms Aminatul Hawa Yahaya, Deputy Dean of Student Development and Campus Lifestyle; Dr Sakinah Munarwarrah Hashim, Head of the Student Development Department; and Mr Jamil Jawil, Advisor of the AMAR UBIS Club.
In her closing remarks, Ms Aminatul Hawa emphasised the importance of developing students who demonstrate integrity, discipline and responsibility in both their personal and professional lives.
The programme concluded with a prize-giving ceremony officiated by PKPj Nor Faemah Ismail, recognising participants and teams that demonstrated outstanding performance throughout the activities.

Beyond raising anti-corruption awareness, Code of Integrity: The Escape Mission supported the development of communication, leadership, teamwork, critical thinking and problem-solving competencies among university students.
The programme is particularly aligned with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, through its emphasis on integrity, ethical conduct and anti-corruption awareness. It also supports SDG 4: Quality Education through practical and student-centred learning, while the cooperation between UniKL Business School and MACC Kuala Lumpur reflects the spirit of SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
