Universiti Kuala Lumpur proudly secures the Bronze in the Education and Learning category at the Putra Brand Awards 2024.
The accolade was presented to the Chairman of UniKL, YB Dato’ Sri Sh Mohmed Puzi Sh Ali, during the prestigious gala on 17 January 2024.
“We are grateful for this recognition and we have tried our best. I am confident that next year we will work even harder and achieve better cohesion regarding the university’s branding” said YB Dato’ Sri Sh Mohmed Puzi.

Alongside UniKL, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman was awarded Bronze, while Sunway University and Unitar International University claimed Silver. Multimedia University and Universiti Teknologi Petronas received Gold, and Open University Malaysia (OUM) was honoured with Platinum.
UniKL’s journey began with a Bronze win in 2016, marking the start of a steadfast commitment to brand excellence.
The university earned Silver in 2018 and 2019, and despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, achieved the prestigious Putra Brand Gold Awards in 2020. In 2022, it bagged Platinum.
This continuous ascent also includes two Gold awards at the Aria Brand Awards, a notable initiative under the Putra Brand Awards banner.

The Putra Brand Awards, Malaysia’s only brand awards endorsed by MATRADE, and supported by the Malaysian Advertisers Association (MAA), Media Specialists Association (MSA), and Malaysian Digital Association (MDA), recognises brands that resonate with consumers.
Determined through a rigorous consumer research process involving 6,000 participants, the awards highlight the most preferred brands across various categories, with winners receiving Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze honours.
