Bridging the gap between academia and the real world, 26 volunteers from UniKL Malaysian Spanish Institute (UniKL MSI) descended upon Sekolah Kebangsaan Sri Selama for Karnival Sains 2026.
Organised to empower young minds, the volunteers led a series of cutting-edge demonstrations, including high-impact activities that proved that technology is not just accessible but exhilarating.
The program featured immersive science and robotics workshops, with high-energy live experiments that brought the core laws of physics and chemistry to life.
Volunteers showcased cutting-edge robotics technology where participants gained first-hand experience in automated operations and the mechanics of the future.
Beyond technical skills, the volunteers served as STEM mentors, fuelling curiosity through a “learning-by-doing” philosophy that empowered children to explore without limits.
UniKL MSI’s participation directly champions Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 by delivering inclusive, high-quality STEM education, while simultaneously tackling SDG 10 by democratising access to technical resources.
