Yayasan Pelajaran MARA (YPM) has awarded financial aid of RM37,500 to 15 Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) students, supported by contributions from Ekuiti Nasional Berhad (EKUINAS).
Under the Skim Dana Ehsan Pendidikan (SDEP) programme, each student received RM2,500 during an event held on 10 February 2026.
The Deputy President (Student Development & Campus Lifestyle) of UniKL, Prof. Ts. Dr. Zalizah Awang Long, said, this financial assistance aims to motivate students to achieve academic excellence without being burdened by serious financial difficulties.
“On this occasion, I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to YPM and EKUINAS for their efforts and commitment to this collaborative partnership.

“It is hoped that this Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative will serve as an example to other companies to participate in advancing education and community well-being.
“We also hope that the strategic collaboration with YPM and EKUINAS will continue and be further strengthened over time,” added Prof. Ts. Dr. Zalizah.
Also present at the event was Mr. Zainal Rashid Zakaria, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of YPM’s Fund Development Department.
For the record, EKUINAS, marking its fourth year of support, has contributed a total of RM120,000.
