The Robotique Society of Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysia France Institute (UniKL MFI), with support from the Mechatronics and Robotics Society (MARS), recently hosted a dynamic RoboCup outreach session.
Aimed at igniting passion for robotics among young talents, the session served as a platform to strengthen knowledge transfer in robotics and autonomous systems.
Organised as part of preparations for the upcoming RoboCup competition at Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) this August, the event brought together students and representatives from the MARA-Japan Industrial Institute (MJII), German-Malaysian Institute (GMI), and UCSI University.
Participants received hands-on exposure to real-world RoboCup platforms and programming systems that mirror international competition standards, offering valuable insight into the fast-evolving field of autonomous robotics.
“This session not only introduced participants to the technical aspects of RoboCup, but also encouraged collaboration and shared learning among institutions,” said Dr. Siti Norhafiza, Club Advisor and Deputy Dean of Student Development and Campus Lifestyle (SDCL) at UniKL MFI.
More than just a technical showcase, the event underscored the Robotique Society’s role in driving robotics outreach and education at UniKL MFI.
