Universiti Kuala Lumpur Institute of Medical Science Technology (UniKL MESTECH) is taking a giant leap toward the future of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) education by collaborating with OH Digital Solution Sdn Bhd, a leader in the digital transformation of OSH practices.
This strategic partnership is set to redefine the way OSH is taught, researched, and practised by integrating cutting-edge AI and digital technologies into UniKL MESTECH’s curriculum and training facilities.
The collaboration is an exciting addition to UniKL MESTECH’s teaching factory concept, which emphasises industrialmanship, research, and training, and was commemorated on 7 May 2025.
Also present were the Founder of OH Digital Solution, Dr. Shawaludin Husin, and the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of OH Digital Solution, Mr. Rohazzuan Abdul Azit.
Representing UniKL MESTECH were Ts Dr. Mohamed Zul Fadhli Khairuddin, Dean/Head of Campus, and Ts Ilyas Syafiq, Head of Industrial Linkages, along with faculty members from the OSH program.
With AI and digitalisation at its core, this partnership will enhance the way future OSH professionals are trained, providing them with state-of-the-art tools and a deeper understanding of how technology is shaping workplace safety.

A standout moment during the event was the pre-launch demonstration of Malaysia’s first-ever Virtual Reality (VR) Audiometry system, a groundbreaking tool for digital occupational health assessments.
This immersive VR technology allows OSH technicians to undergo realistic, hands-on training in a safe virtual environment – a first for the country.
Students from the Bachelor of Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) programme had the opportunity to test the system, gaining invaluable exposure to the next wave of occupational health tools.
In addition to the VR Audiometry system, OH Digital Solution also unveiled MySMARTOH, a powerful digital reporting platform that’s revolutionising how occupational health records and data are managed across Malaysia.
