Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) celebrated 327 employees, including retirees, in recognition of their loyalty and long service to the university during the Loyal Services and Appreciation Award Ceremony 2025 (LSA 2025), held on 5 February.
Gracing the ceremony, the Chairman of UniKL, Dato’ Sri Sh. Mohmed Puzi Sh. Ali, said each recipient was awarded a monetary reward equivalent to their years of service, along with a certificate of recognition.

During the event, the President and Chief Executive Officer of UniKL, Prof. Ir. Dr. Azman Senin, was also honoured for his 15 years of dedicated service.

Alongside him, the Deputy President (Academic and Technology), Prof. Dr. Kushsairy Abdul Kadir, and the Deputy President (International, Industrial and Institutional Partnership), Prof. Ir. Dr. Azmi Hassan, were recognised for their 25 and 10 years of service, respectively.

These recognitions reflect UniKL’s commitment to good governance, fostering motivation and appreciation among its long-serving employees.
By valuing their contributions and promoting fair rewards, UniKL supports the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, ensuring a satisfied and productive workforce.

It also contributes indirectly to SDG 4: Quality Education by maintaining excellence in its educational environment.
