About 200 students and young participants gathered at Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Industrial Technology (UniKL MITEC) for the Youth Faith Strengthening Programme organised by the Johor Mufti Department.
Held on 5 June 2026, the programme brought together participants from UniKL MITEC and other educational institutions for discussions aimed at strengthening their understanding of Islamic creed, or aqidah, and its relevance in addressing contemporary challenges.
UniKL MITEC served as the host institution through its Student Development Section, with support from the Industrial Logistics Students’ Council.

The collaboration reflected the university’s commitment to holistic student development, institutional partnerships and meaningful youth engagement beyond academic learning.
Throughout the programme, participants were exposed to guidance on building a strong foundation in Islamic teachings, evaluating information responsibly and responding to intellectual and ideological issues with knowledge and sound understanding.

The initiative also provided a platform for knowledge sharing between religious authorities, university students and young people. It encouraged participants to seek information from credible sources while developing resilience, critical thinking and a deeper appreciation of positive Islamic values.
The programme forms part of UniKL MITEC’s broader efforts to promote student well-being, character development and community engagement through educational activities and strategic collaboration.
