Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) brought together more than 110 alumni at its Majlis Salam Aidilfitri Alumni Raya UniKL, reaffirming the institution’s ongoing efforts to strengthen post-graduation engagement and community ties.
Organised by the Centre for Alumni and Career Services (CACS), with UniKL Malaysia Institute of Information Technology (UniKL MIIT) and UniKL Business School as co-hosts, the event served as a structured platform for alumni across cohorts and disciplines to reconnect with the university and with one another.
The gathering was graced by the Chairman of UniKL, Dato’ Sri Sh Mohmed Puzi Sh Ali; President and Chief Executive Officer of UniKL, Prof. Ir. Dr. Azman Senin; Deputy President (Student Development & Campus Lifestyle) of UniKL, Prof. Ts. Dr. Zalizah Awang Long; Director of CACS, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Faizuddin Md. Noor and attended by alumni representatives, including the President of the Persatuan Alumni Universiti Kuala Lumpur, Ts. Muzammil Arif.

Unlike a purely social celebration, the programme underscored UniKL’s broader alumni strategy, positioning its graduates not only as former students, but as active contributors to the university’s development.
This includes participation in academic, industry, and community-based initiatives.
Beyond networking, the event also reinforced the values of social responsibility within the alumni community. For the record, a total of RM3,250 was raised during Ramadan through alumni contributions.
The funds were distributed to 15 students from Maahad Tahfiz Kebajikan Amal Ummah and 45 children of deceased UniKL alumni, with the handover taking place during an alumni iftar programme on 6 March 2026 at UniKL Malaysia France Institute (UniKL MFI).
