A student from Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Information Technology (UniKL MIIT) has brought pride to the institution after securing second place in the Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) Malaysia National Championship 2026.
Ariq Luqman, a Semester 3 student pursuing the Bachelor of Multimedia Technology (Hons.) in Interactive Multimedia Design, emerged as one of the country’s top creative talents after demonstrating exceptional creativity, technical expertise, and digital design skills throughout the national-level competition.
The championship challenged participants through multiple stages using Adobe Creative Cloud applications, with contestants assessed on their creativity, problem-solving abilities, and professional design capabilities.

Ariq successfully progressed through the competition journey, beginning with briefing sessions, preparation stages, and project submissions before earning a spot among the Top 30 finalists nationwide.
His achievement was guided by Creative Multimedia lecturer, Amalia Mohamad, who mentored and supported him throughout the preparation and competition process.

The accomplishment also reflects UniKL MIIT’s continued commitment towards nurturing industry-ready creative talents equipped with strong technical competencies and innovative thinking in the field of multimedia and digital design.
Appreciation was also extended to Acestar, the organiser of the Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) Malaysia National Championship, as well as Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman for providing opportunities and exposure for young creative talents to showcase their skills at a national platform.
Recognised as one of the leading competitions in the creative multimedia and digital design industry, the ACP Malaysia National Championship gathers talented students from institutions across the country to compete at a professional industry standard.
