A collaborative initiative aimed at strengthening technical competencies and enhancing practical skills in line with current developments in clinical practice and medical technology was recently conducted at Universiti Kuala Lumpur Royal College of Medicine Perak (UniKL RCMP).
Held on 22 to 23 November 2025, UniKL RCMP, through its Advanced Continuing Education (ACE), co-organised the โBasic to Intermediate Obstetrics & Gynaecology Ultrasound: Practical Application in Primary Careโ workshop in partnership with U.n.i CARE (UniKLINIK Ipoh), Mindray, and Infinity Medical.
The two-day programme attracted 47 participants comprising healthcare professionals, clinical practitioners, and industry representatives.

Guided by experienced experts and supported by leading medical technology partners, the workshop offered an integrated learning experience that combined theoretical insights, hands-on demonstrations, and practical exposure to the latest clinical equipment and solutions.
A major highlight was the participation of three distinguished speakers, each highly regarded in their respective fields.
Through evidence-based lectures, live demonstrations, and hands-on modules, they provided valuable insights into equipment utilisation, workflow optimisation, and the practical application of ultrasound tools in primary care settings.

Beyond technical training, the workshop also facilitated knowledge exchange, professional networking, and closer collaboration between academia and industry.
This further strengthens UniKL RCMPโs commitment to delivering impactful continuing education for Malaysiaโs healthcare sector.
ACE UniKL RCMP extended its appreciation to U.n.i CARE, Mindray, Infinity Medical, facilitators, and all participants for contributing to the programmeโs success.
