Over 300 resumes from Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) students and alumni were shortlisted by top employers during the university’s Career & Internship Placement Fair 2025, underscoring the strong industry linkages and marketability of UniKL graduates.

More than 20 reputable companies and organisations took part in the fair, including Maybank, Prasarana, Al Rajhi Bank, Generali, AAC Technologies, Allianz, Kenanga Investors, PhillipCapital, K.K. Metal Processing, Synergy Alliance Solutions, Smart Meters Technologies, Talentbank, Volkswagen, and Wasiyyah Shoppe, among others.

The fair, organised by UniKL Business School and held at Quill City Mall, attracted hundreds of students eager to explore career and internship opportunities with leading employers from diverse industries.

Themed “Creating Pathways to a Brighter Future,” the event provided a vital platform for students to connect directly with recruiters, gain industry insights, and secure internship placements aligned with their academic and career aspirations.

Representatives from participating companies praised UniKL for producing graduates equipped with industry-relevant skills and emphasised the importance of nurturing future talent to meet evolving workforce demands.

Beyond resume shortlisting, the fair also served as a networking hub, enabling students to explore career pathways in sectors such as banking, finance, manufacturing, engineering, and technology.

On-the-spot interviews and face-to-face engagements gave students the chance to showcase their abilities while learning more about employer expectations.

The Career & Internship Placement Fair remains a critical bridge between classroom learning and real-world practice, ensuring UniKL graduates are not only academically prepared but also industry-ready.

The success of this year’s fair reaffirms UniKL’s commitment to strengthening industry collaboration and maintaining its reputation for producing highly sought-after graduates in the job market.
