Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), through its Centre for Women Advancement and Leadership (CWAL), extended the spirit and joy of Ramadan to underprivileged and Tahfiz students in Kuala Lumpur.
Held in collaboration with KofikaMY and supported by Yayasan UniKL, the programme benefited 50 asnaf and B40 students from UniKL Malaysian Institute of Information Technology (UniKL MIIT), as well as 15 Huffaz students from Universiti Kuala Lumpur British Malaysian Institute (UniKL BMI).

The initiative was organised as part of UniKL’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts to ensure that students in need receive welfare support and encouragement throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
During the programme, selected recipients also received cash contributions to assist them in preparing for Ramadan.

UniKL was represented by Deputy President (International, Industrial and Institutional Partnerships) Prof. Ir. Dr. Azmi Hassan.
Also in attendance, Co-Founder for Women Leadership Foundation (WLF), Datuk Zunaidah Idris, Executive Director of Yayasan UniKL, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Zuhanis Mansor, UniKL’s Covering Chief Corporate Planning Officer (CCPO) and Director of Project Management Office (PMO), Mohd Ariff Majmi Zaaba, senior management members of UniKL MIIT and industry partners.

The initiative reflects UniKL’s continued commitment to supporting underprivileged communities and promoting inclusive social development.
