The recent Jalinan Kasih Programme held at Masjid Al-Makmur, Kg. Giching on Sunday, 7th January 2024, was a success event.
The event involved active participation of 50 students from the Community Services programme from UniKL MESTECH, 30 dedicated UniKL alumni representing the UniKL Alumni Association, and representatives from the Ministry of Health. The warm hospitality and support of the local community was instrumental in making this event truly memorable.
Throughout the day, participants engaged in a “Gotong Royong” session at Masjid Al-Makmur, demonstrating the spirit of unity and cooperation. Additionally, 40 boxes of love were distributed to deserving Asnaf families in the Kg. Giching area, bringing joy and relief to those in need. The event also featured a “Rewang” session, where participants came together to prepare food alongside the local community, fostering a sense of togetherness and camaraderie.
“We’ve opened up a space for all the alumni to show their enthusiasm and welcome greeting from the alumni association who have given donation, and we’ve also provided foods in baskets for a few houses,” said Muzammil Arif Kamaruddin (Presiden, Persatuan Alumni UniKL).
The organisers would like to express their sincere gratitude to all the participants and volunteers who selflessly dedicated their time and efforts to make this event a resounding success. It is through their kindness and compassion that the Jalinan Kasih Programme 2024 was able to leave a lasting impact on the community.
