A total of 94 students are set to embark on a new academic chapter in the Republic of Korea after completing the Pre-Korea Programme.
The students are from Batch 14 of the preparatory programme conducted at Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Information Technology (UniKL MIIT).
Departing on 10 January 2026, the students will continue their studies at nine leading universities in Korea, namely Hanyang University ERICA Campus, Hanyang University Seoul Campus, Sejong University, Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech), Kyung Hee University, Yonsei University, Sungkyunkwan University, Hongik University, and Korea University.
Most of the students will be pursuing undergraduate programmes in various fields, including engineering, information technology, and related disciplines.
The departure was accompanied by the Director of Education Sponsorship at Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), Dr. Ahmad Sabri Kassim, and the Dean of UniKL MIIT, Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohd Nizam Husen.
