Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) has achieved the prestigious five-star accreditation under the Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) Ecosystem Quality Standard (MQS), valid from October 18, 2024, to October 17, 2027.
The MQS framework focuses on three core elements: Corporate Culture, Conducive Environment, and Creativity & Innovation.
These elements are implemented through specific components grounded in risk management assessments.
UniKL President and Chief Executive Officer, Prof. Ir. Dr. Azman Senin, hailed the accreditation as a significant milestone for the university.
“This recognition reflects UniKL’s unwavering commitment to continuous improvement, excellence, and good governance. It is a testament to our team’s hard work and dedication in upholding the highest standards across all aspects of our operations,” he said.
The evaluation covered key components, including Corporate Information, Organisational Documentation, Occupational Safety and Health, and Protective Security.
Notably, the Creativity & Innovation element highlights the importance of cultivating a culture of innovation, providing encouragement and support, and evaluating the impact of these efforts across MARA Administrative Centres.
These elements and components collectively prioritise the management of a safe, comfortable, and conducive work environment.
This focus not only enhances the quality of service delivery among MARA personnel but also strengthens MARA’s overall performance.
