Majlis Konvokesyen Perdana Institusi Pendidikan MARA (IPMA) 2026 brings together and celebrates 8,449 graduates from TVET MARA institutions at Dewan Merdeka, World Trade Centre (WTC) Kuala Lumpur, taking place from 19 to 21 May.
The main session of the convocation ceremony was officiated by Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW), YB Datuk Hajah Rubiah Wang, in recognition of graduates from TVETMARA and Kolej Profesional MARA (KPM) who successfully completed their studies in academic, technical and vocational fields.
Held across seven sessions, the convocation served as a platform to honour the graduates’ dedication, sacrifices and commitment throughout their academic journey.

In her speech, YB Datuk Hajah Rubiah said MARA graduates must be prepared to face an evolving job market increasingly driven by artificial intelligence (AI), automation, the digital economy and global talent competition.
“Today’s graduates are entering a vastly different working environment, one shaped by artificial intelligence, automation, data economy, digital economy, smart technology, global mobility and increasingly intense talent competition,” she said.

She added that MARA graduates should not only possess academic qualifications, but also practical skills, discipline, integrity and the ability to adapt to current industry demands and changes.
According to her, the 97.22 percent graduate employability rate recorded by TVETMARA and Kolej Profesional MARA in 2025 reflects the continued relevance of MARA’s education system in meeting the needs of the nation’s industries.

The main session also featured the presentation of several awards in recognition of graduates’ holistic achievements, including the Outstanding Graduate Award, Outstanding Entrepreneurship Graduate Award, Special Industry and Professional Body Award, and the Best Graduate Award.
