Rafhana Nazhifa Bin Rujhan who is MBBS Year 3 student managed to memorize 17 juzuk of Al-Quran and was awarded with a Grand Award called “Anugerah Khas Prestasi Terbaik” during the ceremony. She was nominated and evaluated based on her achievement and dedication in the Huffaz Professional Program in UniKL RCMP that includes being a committee member for 3 years and doing well as Vice President for 2 years and Multimedia Exco for a year.
HP student who graces the ceremony with short Al-quran recitation and rendition, Arwa bin Khairuddin has also won 2nd place in ‘Majlis Tilawah Al-Quran dan Menghafaz Al-Quran’ and 3rd place in Ihtifal Competition in Tilawah Category both in higher institution level competition in 2023. With the support from Zakat RCMP and management for Ulul Albab programme, it directly motivates the students to be in this programme until the end of the semesters in UniKL. This shows that UniKL has managed and continuously encouraging our students to practice their faith and excel in their academic which align with KKDW and UniKL vision of producing TVET Tahfiz.
Ulul Albab programme that is also known as Huffaz Professional programme is now being actively conducted in 8 UniKL campuses (UniKL RCMP, UniKL MIAT, UniKL MITEC, UniKL MSI, UniKL MIMET, UniKL MICET, UniKL BMI and UniKL MFI). Ulul Albab programme has long been established in 2016 and without a doubt is not just another added value for current students or new prospective students as it promotes more well-rounded students who excel in life and hereafter.
On 1st February, 2024, UniKL RCMP has successfully organized a programme called Huffaz Professional UniKL RCMP Appreciation Award Ceremony in Travelodge Hotel, Perak for its first ever celebration of 111 Huffaz Professional students from different programmes in UniKL RCMP with majority from Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
The event is officiated by Deputy President of Student Development and Campus Lifestyle, Professor Ts Dr Zalizah Awang Long on behalf of President of UniKL, Assoc. Prof. Ir Azman Senin with the presence RCMP CEO, Hj Hishhamuddin Omar, Prof Dr Ahmad Fuad Shamsuddin, SDCL Deputy Dean, Pn Nilam Maisarah, Director of Centre of Student Development, Assoc. Prof Dr Tuan Salwani Awang @Salleh, Director of MESRA, Assoc. Prof. Dr Eida Nadirah Roslin, CSD members, RCMP lecturers and management staff with most celebrated 111 RCMP Huffaz Professional students.
This ceremony is to celebrate one of the milestone of UniKL effort in bringing Ulul Albab programme to the next level.
