“Despite being a newcomer in fashion education, FASH MIDI has quickly gained recognition, competing alongside well-established institutions.
“This victory underscores the division’s commitment to nurturing emerging talent and making an impact in the industry,” the division stated.
For context, FASH MIDI is a newly established division at Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Italy Design Institute (UniKL MIDI), specialising in key areas of the fashion industry.
Organised by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia in collaboration with Muslim World BIZ (MWB), Secretariat Leadership Ibu Zain, and Kelab Ikon Malaysia (IKON), the Fashion for Her competition celebrates the contributions of women in fashion and the arts.
The festival was officially launched by the Deputy Minister of Women, Family, and Community Development, YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad who also presented the awards.
