Universiti Kuala Lumpur’s (UniKL) Centre for Water Engineering Technology (UniKL CWET) distinguished itself among the esteemed participants at AsiaWater 2024, the premier water and wastewater platform for developing Asia.
Held from April 23rd to 25th, it provided a dynamic platform for UniKL CWET to showcase its pioneering technology and technical prowess.
Themed “Water Transformation and Climate Change: Innovation for Resilience,” AsiaWater 2024 underscored the urgent need for innovative solutions in water management, emphasising the significance of global collaboration and partnerships.
UniKL CWET seized the opportunity to present cutting-edge innovations, including an autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle, an XRF elemental analyzer, and a laser particle analyzer.
These state-of-the-art technologies underscore UniKL CWET’s unwavering commitment to leading the frontier of water engineering technology.
In addition to technological showcases, UniKL CWET spotlighted groundbreaking research initiatives undertaken by postgraduate students in collaboration with the prestigious IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, Netherlands.
The exhibition also served as a platform to demonstrate UniKL CWET’s comprehensive range of educational programmes, tailored training solutions, and consultancy services, positioning the institution as a holistic hub for water engineering expertise.
