Six Huffaz Technologist students from Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology (UniKL MIAT) earned the Mumtaz classification in the Sijil Perakuan Hafazan Bertahap (SPHB) Examination held on 13 June 2026 at Darul Quran, Kuala Kubu Bharu, Selangor.
The six Mumtaz achievers were Abdul Shafi Rahmat, Abdullah Fitri Abdul Rahman, Aiman Danial Mohd Zaidi, Amjad Fikri Abdul Hadi, Muhammad Danish Aqil Azmi and Muhammad Luqman Wazif Rashdan.

A total of 11 UniKL MIAT Huffaz Technologist students participated in the examination, which Darul Quran organised to nurture greater appreciation for the Quran and provide formal recognition of students’ Quranic memorisation achievements at different levels.
Other UniKL MIAT students also recorded commendable results, with Abdul Lathif Muzakkir Rozman earning Jayyid Jidan, Ali Hassan receiving Jayyid, and Adib Akhtar Rosman achieving Maqbul.

The achievement reflects UniKL MIAT’s emphasis on holistic student development through its Huffaz Technologist pathway, which complements technical and professional education with Quranic knowledge, discipline and values-based learning.

It also demonstrates UniKL’s broader commitment to student achievement, quality education and graduate development within Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
The initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, particularly through learning opportunities that support knowledge development, personal growth, and well-rounded education.
