The UniKL Business School (UniKL BIS) Silat Club, known as the BEAST Fighter Silat Club, delivered a strong performance at the SCCA Gladiators Silat Championship 2026, securing a total of 11 medals and emerging among the top-performing contingents of the tournament.
Organised by the Persatuan Seni Silat Gerak Hidayat Kuala Lumpur & Selangor (PSSGHKL&S) in collaboration with the Majlis Belia Wilayah Persekutuan (MBWP), the championship was held from 21 to 24 May 2026 at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.
It brought together silat practitioners from various clubs and institutions nationwide, serving as a platform to showcase skill, discipline, and competitive spirit.
The UniKL BIS contingent secured an impressive haul of two gold, five silver, and four bronze medals, reflecting months of dedicated training and preparation.
Among the standout performances, Muhammad Hakimi Ali Kasim clinched a gold medal in Class J, while Nurina Aiman Rostam not only won gold in Class D but was also crowned Pesilat Terbaik for her outstanding overall performance.
In the silver category, medals were secured by Megat Irfan Syahmi Zanaruddin in Class G, Nurhanim Najwa Ahmad Yusaimi in Class F, Nurul Asyiqin Jehwae in Class A-, Muhammad Ashraff Aidil Bin Mohd Azahari in Class D, and Ahmad Danial Bin Ezam in Class A.
The bronze medals were contributed by Muhammad Firdaus Mohd Nasori in Class I, Huzairil Arsyad Noor Azman in Class F, Muhammad Al Bukhori Rozali in Class F, and Nurul Izzati Azharuddin in Class A.
The team’s success was made possible through the dedication and guidance of coaches Muhammad Luqman Nawawi and Mohammad Affiq Ikram, with strong support from Pn. Noriati Ngah, Advisor of the BEAST Fighter Silat Club.
