Which campus will rise to steal the spotlight with an unexpected victory at Universiti Kuala Lumpur’s (UniKL) highly anticipated Arts Festival 2025?
All UniKL campuses are now actively preparing for the festival, which is set to take place from 20 to 24 August 2025 at UniKL Royal College of Medicine Perak (UniKL RCMP).
For the record, UniKL RCMP was crowned overall champion in 2022, before passing the title to UniKL Business School (UniKL BIS).
Last year, the title was claimed by UniKL Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology (UniKL MIAT).
“The competition has been held among 12 UniKL campuses since 2018.
“This year, we have introduced two new categories: a choir competition for higher learning institutions and a Kuiz Kenegaraan specifically for high schools in Perak,” said the Deputy Director of UniKL’s Centre for Student Development (CSD).
The festival features a wide array of events, including poetry recitation, public speaking, film critique, music and dance performances, choir and band competitions, a school quiz, and a fashion show.
The Arts Festival also supports UniKL’s SPICES student development model—Spiritual, Physical, Intellectual, Career, Emotional, and Social—providing a platform for students to excel both academically and creatively.
