Universiti Kuala Lumpur Royal College of Medicine Perak (UniKL RCMP) has equipped 165 Diploma in Pharmacy students with essential entrepreneurship skills through the “Be Ready to Be an Entrepreneur” talk.
Held on 19 March 2025, the session featured an insightful talk by Coach Wafi (Abdul Wafi Mohd Hamid), a digital marketing trainer with over six years of industry experience.
“Coach Wafi has conducted training for various groups, including government agencies, corporations (both small and large), organisations, and individuals.
“In these roles, he provides valuable insights into social media marketing strategies and online business techniques, equipping participants with the skills needed to succeed in the digital economy,” UniKL RCMP stated.
Adding prestige to the event, YBhg. Puan Yuhaniz binti Mohamad Padil, Director of the Perak State Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) Office, delivered the closing remarks.
In her speech, she emphasised the importance of cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset among students and encouraged them to leverage available platforms and support systems to venture into business.
Following her address, she toured Entrepreneur Square at UniKL RCMP, visiting three Siswapreneur business kiosks.
These kiosks, operated by enterprising UniKL RCMP students, showcased a diverse range of services and products, including a convenience store, a coffee barista station, and a printing and photocopy hub.
The initiative was spearheaded by the Teknoputra Department at UniKL RCMP in collaboration with Pusat Usahawan MARA (PUSMA), the MARA Training & Career Unit, and the MARA Perak State Office.
