Universiti Kuala Lumpur Business School (UniKL BIS) welcomed over 35 industrial partners from diverse sectors at its Industrial Networking Hi-Tea, themed Elevating Partnership.
The event, held on January 7, 2025, at the Royale Chulan Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, aimed to fortify existing collaborations and explore new opportunities for mutual growth.
The event highlighted ongoing initiatives, such as the Teaching Factory projects, which include the Live Streaming Studio with Store N Go and the Fintech Data Center with Instrak Venture Capital. Industry insights were shared during the Industrial Talk on Financial Strategies, featuring speakers from GRADUAN, Youthventure Asia, CelcomDigi, and IBFIM.
In his keynote address, UniKL President and Chief Executive Officer, Prof. Ir. Dr. Azman Senin, emphasised the importance of bridging the gap between academia and industry to drive innovation and success.
“This initiative underscores our unwavering commitment to empowering our students and partners through meaningful collaborations that bring tangible benefits to both academia and industry,” he remarked.
Looking ahead, UniKL Business School announced several potential collaborations across various domains.
These include Competency Certificate Training with ISEP (M) Sdn Bhd, Skill Development Programs with Yayasan Pahang Advanced Skills and HPA International, and Image Consultant Training in partnership with MAESUE Academy.
Additionally, the school plans to introduce Financial Planning Programs in collaboration with Kausar Wealth Management Sdn Bhd, MFPC, MUFG Bank (Malaysia) Berhad, and URUSS Marketing Hub Sdn Bhd. Furthermore, Technopreneur Development Programs are set to be launched in partnership with Laughing Tree Sdn Bhd and Ingress Technologies Sdn Bhd.
Senior representatives from the participating companies expressed their enthusiasm for deeper collaborations with UniKL BIS, lauding the institution’s proactive efforts in fostering innovation and growth across industries.
