The Emerging Women Leaders 2024 (EWL) programme successfully gathered nearly 160 women participants from various institutions, including Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Kolej Poly-Tech MARA (KPTM), and Saito University College.

Organised by the UniKL’s Centre for Women Advancement and Leadership (CWAL) in collaboration with the Selangor Women’s Leadership Academy, the programme aims to develop future women leaders who are resilient, balanced, and guided by spiritual, emotional, and intellectual values.

The program integrates holistic character-building elements inspired by the IMS framework, conceptualized by Walid Ibrahim Al Malik, a visionary and advocate of spiritual values in personal development.

This framework blends faith, compassion, and well-being as foundational principles to cultivate well-rounded individuals capable of making positive impacts on society.

Program Director Mrs. Nurhuda Mohamad Nazri, who serves as the UniKL Medical Science Technology’s (UniKL MESTECH) CWAL Coordinator, emphasised that the IMS framework is not merely a philosophy but a practical guide for empowering women.

“Women with inner strength cultivated through this holistic approach have the potential to steer the world toward goodness, shaping a brighter future generation,” she stated.

A unique highlight of the programme was the Natural Regenerative Therapy (NR Therapy), an innovative approach designed to help participants overcome mental stress, stabilize emotions, and boost self-confidence for calm and effective leadership.

The well-known saying, “The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world,” inspires the programme’s theme, “Self-Discovery, Healing, and Transformation”.

Through this theme, participants explore their leadership potential, strengthen mental resilience, and enhance emotional fortitude.

This programme demonstrates that women empowered with knowledge, emotional resilience, and strong moral values can lead the world toward positive change.
