The Country Manager of Alibaba Cloud, Mr. Kun Huang, and Senior Training Advisor Alibaba Cloud, Dr. Jawad Ali Shah, Senior Training Advisor Alibaba Cloud, have formalized this partnership, signaling the commencement of discussions for a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The initial step in this collaboration involved the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI), underscoring the shared commitment of both parties to bolstering academic proficiency in Alibaba Cloud technologies. The primary objective of this partnership is to equip educators with the necessary tools and knowledge to integrate state-of-the-art cloud technologies into their teaching methodologies effectively.
A central aspect of this collaboration is the provision of opportunities for students to acquire certifications in Alibaba Cloud, thereby equipping them with the requisite skills to excel in the dynamic technological landscape. Through tailored training programs and practical experience in emerging technologies, this initiative seeks to cultivate a skilled workforce capable of leveraging cloud solutions to drive innovation across various sectors.
UniKL has expressed its intention to explore the establishment of an Alibaba Cloud Skills Center, drawing inspiration from successful models at esteemed institutions like Universiti Malaya. This proposed Skills Center aims to not only benefit the academic community at UniKL but also extend its impact to the broader public.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by the Dean/Head Campus of Universiti Kuala Lumpur British Malaysian Institute (UniKL BMI), Ts. Dr. Zulkifli Mahmoodin, along with the Senior Training Advisor Alibaba Cloud, Dr Jawad Ali Shah.
