Opportunities to experience studying abroad are now open as Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) International Office (UIO) has invited applications for International Student Exchange Mobility (ISEM) September 2022 programme until March 21.
ISEM aims to expose UniKL students to the best of international communities, cultures and practices beyond their boundaries.
Through the programme, the selected applicants will be given an opportunity to be attached to any of UniKL’s partner universities abroad for a period of less than a year.
To pass the selection process, bachelor students must obtain at least 3.75 of Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) and are in semester 5 onwards during the period of mobility under the Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) sponsorship.
For the self-sponsorship, meanwhile, a CGPA result of at least 2.5 is required, and open for those in the second year of study during the period of mobility.
Currently, UniKL has 65 partner universities under the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Exchange.
Among the countries involved are Austria, Belgium, China, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and also Vietnam.
Besides the MoA Exchange, the university has 25 Collaboration Notes (CN) that also include exchange mobility programmes.
While there is no limit for the number of participants, however, the number of students nominated to partner universities is based on the number stated in the agreement with each partner.
