The daughter of former Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) Director-General, Dato’ Sri Azhar Abdul Manaf, has graduated from Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL).
His daughter, Nur Fatihah Amylia Dato’ Sri Azhar, received her Diploma in Multimedia during the eighth session of UniKL’s 22nd Convocation Ceremony, held on 4 November.
Having his second daughter graduate from UniKL, Dato’ Sri Azhar expressed his gratitude and shared that she is now pursuing her bachelor’s degree.
“She’s actually my second child to study at UniKL. Her elder sister was also a UniKL student at UniKL Malaysian Institute of Chemical and Bio-Engineering Technology (UniKL MICET), majoring in Chemical Technology, and she is now working at a local pharmaceutical company.
“I believe that the education offered by UniKL prepares its graduates well for the job market,” he said.
For the record, Dato’ Sri Azhar retired from MARA earlier this year after serving for over 30 years.
“From my own observation, when I look at my children, especially my youngest daughter, she used to be very shy.
“In the past, she wasn’t confident speaking or interacting with people, but after studying at UniKL, she has become more confident, outspoken, and better at communicating with others,” he shared.
Meanwhile, Nur Fatihah Amylia hopes to excel in her bachelor’s degree and achieve the Dean’s List every semester.
She is among 6,872 graduates from 12 UniKL campuses nationwide.
