Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) and the Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) are exploring the possibility of a partnership for educational and technical skill opportunities for the latter’s youth community.
As part of this collaboration, UniKL is set to conduct briefing sessions for Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) students at Felda Residences and Schools nationwide, outlining pathways to pursue studies at UniKL Foundation, Diploma, and Bachelor’s Degree levels.
Similarly, a briefing session is being prepared for Kolej Yayasan FELDA students interested in Bachelor’s Degree programmes at UniKL, with assessments conducted through an agreed-upon “Mapping Process.”

In addition to academic pathways, UniKL will offer upskilling training to FELDA staff, employing a Train the Trainers (TOT) approach in relevant areas as needed.
The collaboration extends to tailored programmes and activities for students at both UniKL and FELDA premises, supported by faculty expertise.
Furthermore, initiatives include the identification of two ADOPT FELDA Schools and the establishment of a Persatuan Warga Felda (Felda Residents Association) at UniKL.
The collaboration was formalised during a meeting held on April 16th at Menara Felda, led by UniKL’s Chief Executive Officer and President, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Azman Senin and the Deputy Director General (Community Development) of FELDA, Dato’ Mohd Banuri Aris.
