Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), through its Centre for Alumni & Career Services (CACS), extended support to 22 deserving alumni across Kedah, Kelantan, and Terengganu by distributing Alumni CARE Box of Love.
This initiative was launched in response to the devastating flash floods that affected many UniKL alumni at the end of 2024.
As part of the ongoing Alumni CARE efforts, a total of RM6,000 in aid, including CARE Boxes and cash assistance, was distributed, with the majority of affected alumni residing in Kelantan.
CACS played a crucial role in coordinating the distribution, reaching 17 alumni in Kelantan and Terengganu, while UniKL Malaysian Spanish Institute (UniKL MSI) assisted an additional five alumni in Kedah.
Each CARE Box was packed with essential groceries, including rice, canned food, biscuits, and other necessities, along with monetary assistance to help alumni recover from the disaster.
This initiative was made possible through the Alumni Welfare Fund, established during Malam Apresiasi Alumni UniKL on August 25, 2024.
