“Success starts with a single step, no matter how small.”
That was the message delivered by Tee Kee Lion, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Store N Go Sdn Bhd, during the Inspiration Talk Series: Think Big, Start Small – Journey to Entrepreneurial Success at Bestari Hall, UniKL City Campus.
His sharing session became a powerful learning platform for students at UniKL Business School to transform entrepreneurial concepts into real, especially in today’s digital economy.
Organised by UniKL Business School, the talk drew more than 300 students, equipping them with the mindset required to navigate uncertainty and adapt to evolving market demands.

Tee’s journey, which began from humble beginnings as a sales representative, offered students a candid look into the realities of entrepreneurship.
His first business attempt failed, forcing him to refinance his home to fund a second venture.
Instead of allowing setbacks to define his future, Tee took the risk and started again.
That decision eventually led to the establishment of Store N Go in 2018, an end-to-end e-commerce solutions company that today manages more than 60 local and international brands across major platforms, including TikTok, Shopee and Lazada.
From a small operation managing online stores, Store N Go has since evolved into a full-service e-commerce solutions provider offering warehousing, fulfilment, customer service, livestream management, affiliate marketing and digital content services.

During the sharing session, Tee openly spoke about one of the company’s toughest periods during the post-pandemic recovery, when business sales dropped by nearly 70 percent.
While many businesses chose to reduce costs and manpower, Tee made the decision to retain his team and pivot the business into TikTok Shop operations.
“Our philosophy is simple: just do it. Many people wait too long for the perfect moment, but opportunities will not wait for you,” he said.
He encouraged students to embrace change, continuously learn new skills and dare to step outside their comfort zones.
“Think big, start small, but most importantly, start now,” he advised students.
The session became highly interactive as students engaged in a question-and-answer segment covering entrepreneurship, startup challenges, digital business opportunities, business sustainability, networking strategies and internship readiness.
In sharing advice with aspiring entrepreneurs, Tee stressed the importance of creating value before expecting returns.
“You need to build trust, relationships and credibility first. Focus on adding value, and opportunities will follow,” he said.
