Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) has maintained a strong graduate employability (GE) performance, with all 12 campuses recording rates above 90% for 2025, based on findings by the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE).
Two campuses, UniKL Malaysia Italy Design Institute (UniKL MIDI) and UniKL Malaysian Institute of Chemical and Bioengineering Technology (UniKL MICET), achieved a full 100% employability rate, reinforcing UniKL’s overall GE rate of 95%.
This places UniKL above the national average of 92.3%, based on data covering nearly 900 higher learning institutions (IPTs) with a 95.6% response rate.
A further five UniKL campuses recorded employability rates exceeding 95%, namely UniKL Malaysia France Institute (99.3%), UniKL Malaysian Spanish Institute (98.9%), UniKL Institute of Medical Science Technology (98.2%), UniKL Royal College of Medicine Perak (96.7%), and UniKL Malaysian Institute of Industrial Technology (95.9%).
Meanwhile, UniKL Business School recorded 94%, followed by UniKL Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology (92.9%), UniKL Malaysian Institute of Information Technology (92.3%), UniKL British Malaysian Institute (91.7%), and UniKL Malaysian Institute of Marine Engineering Technology (90.6%).
At the national level, while the overall graduate employability rate saw a slight decline, MoHE reported higher participation and broader institutional coverage.
More than 17,000 graduates were identified as actively seeking employment during the survey period.
