Universiti Kuala Lumpur has been recognised in the Talentbank Graduate Employability Index 2026, marking its fifth consecutive year of recognition.
The employer-led benchmark, based on Talentbank’s national employer survey and employability assessment, evaluates graduate outcomes with a focus on employer demand, hiring confidence and workplace readiness. It serves as a valuable complement to global university rankings.
President and Chief Executive Officer of UniKL, Azman Senin, said the university’s approach, combined with industry insights and global employability awareness, equips students with the agility needed to navigate technological disruption, evolving job roles and global workforce demands.
“UniKL graduates stand out because they are practice-oriented, industry-exposed and professionally guided from day one. Our close collaboration with industry partners, alumni mentors and professional bodies ensures that academic learning is continuously aligned with industry needs,” he said.

The Talentbank Graduate Employability Index is recognised and supported by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, and is complemented by a biennial Graduate Employability Bootcamp aimed at strengthening methodological integrity and continuously refining the framework.
The 2026 results are fully determined by organisations of various sizes, based on structured input from leading graduate employers across Malaysia.
Based on this assessment, UniKL is recognised for consistently producing graduates valued by employers.
A total of nine fields of study at UniKL received strong employer endorsement under the 2026 index: Health Science; Aerospace and Aeronautical; Mechanical Engineering; Automotive; Mechatronic Engineering; Medicine; Nursing; Pharmacy; and Physiotherapy.
According to Talentbank, UniKL has distinguished itself among competing institutions through special recognition, as UniKL is ranked No. 1 among private universities in the Aerospace and Aeronautical, as well as Automotive fields of study.
The university has also been named champion for five consecutive years, from 2022 to 2026, in both fields.
