Mohamad Ezaly Iman Ramli and Muhammad Huzairy Mohamad Thes from Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) have once again made Malaysia and the university proud by securing outstanding achievements at the WorldSkills Asia Chinese Taipei 2025.
Held from 26 to 29 November 2025 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center (TaiNEX), Mohamad Ezaly clinched a bronze medal in the Cyber Security category, competing in a paired event alongside his teammate from Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT).
Demonstrating strong technical capability, analytical skills, and composure throughout the competition, Mohamad Ezaly previously won gold at both the WorldSkills Malaysia University Challenge (WSMUC) and WorldSkills ASEAN Manila.
Malaysia’s performance was further elevated by Muhammad Huzairy, who earned a Medallion of Excellence in Mechanical Engineering CAD (MECAD).
The recognition is awarded only to participants who score above international performance standards, reflecting Huzairy’s high level of precision, technical mastery, and dedication.
Competing against Asia’s top young talents, both students contributed significantly to strengthening Malaysia’s overall standing at the regional level.
Their success also reinforces UniKL’s position as a key national training hub for high-technology skills, supporting Malaysia’s advancement in cybersecurity, mechanical engineering design, and aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to quality education, innovation, and industry readiness.
