In a move to enhance the online teaching and learning and work experience for its faculty and students, Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) has launched UniPod—a dedicated, private space designed for maximum productivity and convenience.
This initiative is spearheaded by the Centre for Innovative Digital Education and Emerging Technology (CIDEX), reflecting UniKL’s commitment to digital transformation in education.
According to Dr. Suriana Ismail, Director of CIDEX, UniPod is a significant step towards fostering a seamless digital learning and working environment.
“By providing a distraction-free and fully equipped space, we aim to support our educators and researchers in delivering high-quality online education and research. Students can take this opportunity to utilise the UniPod for their online classes or group discussions.
This initiative aligns with UniKL’s vision of integrating innovative digital solutions into our academic ecosystem,” said her in a statement.
UniPod is a purpose-built facility located at the UniKL Business School Library, offering an optimal environment for online teaching, virtual meetings, research, and focused work.
