In a move to elevate service quality in private healthcare, Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) hosted the third edition of the “Kursus dan Bengkel Peningkatan Kemahiran Pembantu Klinik Swasta” at Scandra Bestari Hall, UniKL Malaysia France Institute (UniKL MFI).
The workshop saw 142 participants, including clinic assistants and owners, coming together to refine their expertise in clinic management and patient care.
The full-day session, led by Dr. Faizal Mat Arifin, Deputy Director of Health (Medical) at the Selangor State Health Department, provided critical insights into Private Medical Practice Control Section (CKAPS) regulatory compliance, infection control, patient safety, and efficient clinic operations.
Attendees also gained practical knowledge on documentation, risk management, and strategies to enhance patient experience.
Building on the success of earlier sessions at UniKL Malaysia Italy Design Institute (UniKL MIDI) and UniKL Royal College of Medicine Perak (UniKL RCMP), the initiative continues to empower private clinic personnel with essential skills and governance guidelines.
Organised by UniKL RCMP, a certified HRD Corp Training Provider, the programme reinforces UniKL’s commitment to shaping a more competent and patient-focused private healthcare sector.
