Sixty underserved children and students received financial assistance through a donation drive organised among the alumni of Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), bringing hope and joy ahead of the upcoming Hari Raya celebration.
The contributions were handed over during the Majlis Iftar Ramadan Alumni UniKL 2.0, held on 6 March 2026 at UniKL Malaysia France Institute (UniKL MFI).

A total of RM3,250 has been collected, and this amount will be channelled into the Alumni Welfare Fund, where it will be utilised for the benefit and well-being of UniKL alumni.
“Today, this contribution will be distributed to 15 students from Maahad Tahfiz Kebajikan Amal Ummah, as well as 45 children of UniKL alumni who have lost either their mother or father.
“This initiative is not merely about providing financial assistance, but also reflects the compassion, care and solidarity of the UniKL family towards those in need,” he said.
It is hoped that the contribution will help brighten the preparations for Hari Raya celebration and bring comfort to the recipients as they celebrate the festive season, he added.
