The ‘Kursus dan Bengkel Peningkatan Kemahiran Pembantu Klinik Swasta 2025’ continued its mission to elevate standards in private healthcare support services through its 5th and 6th series, organised by Universiti Kuala Lumpur Royal College of Medicine Perak (UniKL RCMP), an HRD Corp-certified training provider.
The 5th series, held on Sunday, 27 July 2025, at UniKL Malaysian France Institute (UniKL MFI), recorded a strong participation of 106 clinic assistants from private clinics and hospitals nationwide.
Meanwhile, the 6th series, focused on the East Coast, was conducted on Saturday, 9 August 2025, at Kolej Poly-Tech MARA Kota Bharu, Kelantan, with 34 participants in attendance.

Both workshops were led by Dr. Faizal Mat Arifin, Deputy Director of Health (Medical), Selangor State Health Department, who delivered comprehensive insights into critical areas of clinical operations.
Key topics included best practices in clinic management, compliance with Private Medical Practice Control Section (CKAPS) regulatory standards, patient safety, infection control, and the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
Participants also benefited from interactive hands-on sessions designed to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world application.

These practical modules focused on accurate clinical documentation, risk management, and enhancing the patient care experience, equipping participants with skills that could be immediately applied in their workplace.
The initiative forms part of UniKL RCMP’s ongoing commitment to strengthening professional development in the private healthcare sector.
The workshop series has successfully encouraged participation from diverse segments within the private healthcare industry, positioning UniKL RCMP as a key driver of competency building and regulatory compliance in healthcare support services.
